Got a Question?
One Freight Farms Greenery S is capable of growing lettuces, leafy greens, herbs, brassicas, certain root vegetables, microgreens, edible flowers, and many other crops in any location, regardless of exterior climate.
What are the annual operating costs?
Annual operating costs will inevitably depend on costs in your area — electricity, water, and WiFi, in particular. Others depend on your individual setup, including any cost to rent the land your container sits on and any produce packaging costs.
Is there a warranty on the container farm?
We offer a one-year warranty on every component of the farm. After that period of time, farm components are covered based on their individual warranties. We offer support and troubleshooting on all components.
What is the return on investment (ROI) for a Greenery S?
There’s no simple answer. The success of your farm will depend on important factors like the demand for certain produce varieties in your area, the cost of electricity at your site, the channels you sell to, and more. Our Account Executives are on hand to help ensure your Freight Farm will be commercially viable before you move ahead with purchasing, but no new venture is certain to succeed.
That said, farmers that follow our best practices typically realize a complete return on their initial investment in three years or less.
What site preparation is needed before the farm arrives?
Before the farm’s arrival, you’ll need to prepare a 50’x10’ flat area that can withstand the eight-ton gross weight of the farm; concrete, pavement, trap rock, railroad ties, and sonotubes all provide the necessary support. You will also need to prepare your site with electrical, water, and internet access.
